Background

Emma Marie Boots is a psychologist in training with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Koblenz-Landau and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the University of Hamburg, focusing on Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy.​

Since 2023, Emma has been working as a consultant at RETURN ON MEANING. Her work focuses on the development of individuals, teams, and organizations through consulting projects, as well as workshops and training sessions. Additionally, she manages the project coordination and further development of the mindfulness program MOMENTUM.​

During her studies, Emma conducted research on Positive Psychology and mindfulness. As part of a qualitative study, she examined how interventions based on Positive Psychology can enrich the lives of people from different age groups and socio-economic backgrounds.​

Alongside her studies, Emma gained valuable professional experience in various fields: She worked for several years supporting individuals with severe disabilities in therapeutic settings. Moreover, she held a position as a Social Media Marketing Intern at a startup in Mannheim, where she developed innovative communication strategies. She also deepened her psychological expertise in diagnostics and treatment at the Central Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim, focusing on addictive behavior and addiction medicine.​
