The organization of the future - what is it about?

In times of hybrid forms of work, the question arises of how we can build closeness despite distance. The increasing diversity of teams - ethnically, culturally, linguistically and spatially - agile forms of work and the speed at which things change are also presenting organizations with new challenges. Future Skills such as empathy, self-regulation, learning and communication skills are needed to cope with this development (e.g. OECD, 2018). The appropriate leadership style is characterized by emotional intelligence. In her talk, Svea von Hehn uses scientifically based examples from the field to show how such emotionally intelligent leadership can be cultivated via three central levers and what we can learn from neuroscience.
